I have an FM9 on the way, and I'd just like to ask if the Mission EP-1 (spring-loaded) pedal that I've used on my AX8 will work with the FM9.

I think you can safely assume it will.
I use Moog pedals and they work on AX8, FM3 and AXE FX III
