FM9 effects

After spending a month with the FM9 I find the effects are fantastic. I thought maybe I'd use some of my pedals with the FM9 but there is no need with the exception of one. The only effect I find disappointing on the FM9 is the Pitch shifter - Octave. My Nano pog is much better. Would I just use it in line with the guitar or can I use it on one Pedal 2? (my EV-1 is on Pedal 1)

you can use it in front, or in an effects loop via the 4 cable method. You won't be able to use it in the Pedal 2 or 3 connections, those are for expression pedals only.
