FM9-Edit: Does it time out?

I have FM9-Edit running on my MacBook Pro. After a while of being idle, seems like it 'disconnects'. Won't reconnect if I unplug the USB and replug in, and/or quitting FM9-Edit and restarting. Only seems to reconnect if I reboot the FM9.

Is this normal? Is there some sort of time out on the USB connection from the unit?

It's probably the Mac's Energy Saver. Look in the "System Settings > Energy Saver" at "Put hard disks to sleep when possible". If it's on, turn it off.

I'm on 13.1 Ventura... that setting no longer appears to be there. Did a spotlight search and there's no energy saver panel anymore... so ... ???

I’d recommend looking again.
