Bug? FM9-Edit connection after Mac woke up from sleep

After last update I found that FM9-Edit cannot connect to the unit after my Mac woke up from sleep. This can be worked around by restarting the Mac altogether but I would like to know if this will be handled anytime soon? It would be much more handy not needing to restart everyday

I have seen this intermittently in the past on FW 10 and 11. It didn’t happen before those AFAICT. Only sees to happen after being left on continuously for quite awhile.

Had the same issue once on 11.0b1 on a M1 MacBook Air running macos 26.2 & connecting through an OWC Thunderbolt dock. Cycling power on the FM9 was the only way to reconnect.

Not sure if this is quite the same thing, but I’m having a communication time-out issue that is new with the FW11 update. Everything worked great prior to this. I always fire up both the FM9T and my Mac desktop from off every time, and I had this time-out problem immediately after the update. I used the Refresh After New Firmware command and it went through EVERY block, preset, IR, etc at a very slow pace. I actually let it run overnight and found in the morning that it still hadn’t connected. Ran the RANF command again and it blitzed through everything again much faster and then connected. I thought that was the end of the problem, but it still reappears on subsequent power ups. Power cycling the FM9 doesn’t seem to help. I have the checked the ports, as directed by the warning dialogue, and they are set to “FM9”. I have tried a different USB cable. I have been combing the forum but haven’t found much that seems to pertain to my problem. Posting here for the first time. Thanks.
