FM3 with PowerStage 170

I used to go direct in or use a marshal tube head earlier and I always thought something was lacking.

I used the powerstage 170 with a variety of cabs earlier this week and my FM3 has never sounded better! It literally blew my mind!

The thump and the amp in the room feel I was getting was unimaginably good.

I like the cab packs in the fractal products for recording, but for live and rehearsals, I have found EXACTLY what I was looking for.
 
I have had a great experience with the SD PS products as well. It has been years since I went through a live cab. Own a AxeFXIII for direct and an FM3 for poweramp. Very happy with both. The FM3 is so Powerful with a live cab.. glad I decided to give it a go.
 
I'm running an SD170 into a Bogner Cube and it certainly packs a punch.

Really Considering buying another Cube and through using a cab splitter I should be able to get the SD to "see" 8 ohms (Cube is 16) which will open it out even further..

At this point, with the quality of the modelling on this thing - MKIV, MKIIC+ and the Triaxis are essentially making my real MKV redundant......
 
Tried this set up last night at a show.

I use Eargasms to reduce the volume and as a result usually get lost in the mix.

But yesterday was MAGNIFICENT!

I could hear each and every note, every pinch harmonic along with everyone else in the band.

After over a year of using Fractal - I have finally found the tone.

For the next gig, the guitarist of the headlining band offered to let me use his ENGL.....but that makes me go..
