FM3 Metronome and clock sync

Two related questions on FM3 metronome and clock sync:

1. If I hook up headphones directly to FM3, metronome audio works fine using the Output 1 metronome controls. However, the adjacentUSB setting does not produce any audio. I use FM3 primarily over USB on my MacBook using Loopback routing application. Everything works except the audio produced by the FM3 metronome.

2. Ableton link allows for syncing metronome and session clock over multiple devices. Is there a way to synchronize FM3 with the master clock output from Ableton?

The FM3 should follow midi beat clock.

Is your Ableton setup to send midi beat clock?
