Hey everyone,
As some people know on this forum I posted a thread a few days ago asking about recording techniques. I am new to recording and I know it requires an ear a lot of work. So I will be going to a recording camp sometime around this december so I can learn! For now I figured I would get a jump start on things and see what I can do myself and of course with your help.
I would like to know what people think of my guitar tone. I know there is no right answer but does the tone seem workable? In other words do I seem like I am on to something? In the axe fx I did do some slight eqing.

Some things to note:
Two guitar tracks
PVH 5105 with V30 Cab
PVH 5105 with Cali Cab
No eqing or compressing
No bass
Superior drummer
No mastering
Recorded direct to a presonus firestudio and then into Garageband. (Soon replaced by logic)
Cant wait to hear everyones thoughts!
