Fender Floyd rose Classic mod ideas?

hey all I have this 96 fender floyd rose classic strat that I bought on reverb a couple years ago that I want to get back into shape. Right now it has a dimarzio evo set that I'm not really sure about. I want some suggestions for an HSS set and different wiring options. I mainly play 80s aor/hard rock. Any ideas? Thanks

My Classic Floyd Rose is from 1992, with the EMG SL20 Steve Lukather kit. That's my main Super Strat.

Same here, +1 on the Lukather kit. My strat doesn´t have a Floyd, but I changed the original trem to a Wilkinson, also the tuners are now Gotoh locking tuners. Oh, and I did the 18 V mod for the PUs.

I’d just replace the humbuckers with a set of EVH Wolfgangs…….you won’t be disappointed.

Holy crap, this was my first electric guitar. It was a candy apple red from 1992. It came with 2 stock fender singles and a Dimarzio PAF Pro. I thought paf pro sounded pretty good with this guitar. Just add two dimarzio areas, 61 neck, 67 middle and you’ll be rocking!
