I didn’t call the issue report unsubstantiated. I called a potential new user’s worry about a fatal defect unsubstantiated. There’s no fatal flaw and no reason to avoid the FCs.
 
My luck is I always get the 🍋 with all gear not just FAS. My new car, gear, you name it.
My experience with the XL, faslink, and now Axe III with FC12 & 6 is they freeze sometimes. I play 120 gigs annually with the band and leave the unit on after soundcheck. Used the III for the first time live this weekend with all the new firmware 5.07 and FC firmware 1.06.
Halfway into the gig, The FC 12 started changing color for the switches and wasn't changing scenes properly. I had to reboot the Axe III and it was fine. That's how it goes for ME. "Oh that's weird. I never heard of that." Story of my life.
