External Switches

Im building and also buying a couple of external switches for my mfc 101. My two primary focuses are to have one switch handle the tap tempo and another switch to handle the tuner.

Any chance anyone has any thought on which style switch to use, momentary or latching for them?
 
Doesn't really matter which type you use as you specify the connected type and the way it behaves in the MFC's setup menu.
 
sounds like to me you want Latching. Momentary would only be active as long as you are pressing down. Pretty annoying to me. momentary are commonly used for sustain pedals and the such.
