Error writing data to sound driver. No device driver (Error MM:6)

Every since moving from Windows10 to Windows11, I get this error while playing mp3 music thru my Fx3. Music goes silent about 30 seconds before error apears. The only fix Ive seen on the web is to reinstall sound driver, which Ive done. Somewhere I read, this is a known problem with Windows11. I reboot PC and Fx3 to reset. Im considering downgrading to Windows10.
