What is everyone using for IR low and high cuts?
I usually use 70hz - 8khz
But lately I’m thinking if the IR is a capture of the speaker then why use any of them if your going for a live sound. The IR is just a capturing what the speaker is giving out.
I lately have been using a real cab and A B ing it with a frfr. The frfr sounds like it has more mid range and the real cab more bass and sizzle.
What’s everyone’s thoughts and how do you use the cuts?
Also which IR’s is everyone using with their eq cut choice?
