In the Preset, Amp and Cab managers/pickers, please enable live-search typing so we can start typing and search the entries in the page, allowing us to more quickly reduce what's displaying. What we type should be echoed into the search box.
A useful extension of that would be to enable it in the left pane separately from the right, so we can reduce the entries when looking at directories or backup files of presets.
A less flexible solution would be to force us to click into the search box before we can begin live-search. If this is the solution, at least add a keyboard shortcut, (⌘-F on Mac OS and the equivalent on Windows) to force the keyboard/mouse focus to the search box.
