Do we know how many different distortion options there will be with FX8? I see in the Larry Mitchell YouTube clips at least 2. Any more?

i believe it will have all the drives from the axe fx

I'm not easily finding how many there are in the Axe. Any insight? I see OD, Fuzz, what other types?

Chris you are Captain Obvious. I mean that 100% endearingly and have no sarcasm or dbl intent with it. You always make me think if the saying common sense is not so common.

I'm hoping the FX8 / AFX II drives are a big improvement over those in the Ultra, because my Ultra's drives sound like hammered sh*t through my Bogner Shiva.

The FX8 is nice. When I hung out with Larry, he had some really nice patches set up with it and nice drives dialed in. I'm pretty sure all the drives from the Axe II are in the FX8. He was running it through his old Marshall half stack that is in the video he posted up and it sounded way better in person than it did in the video. If I were going to go back to tube amps, I'd have no problem at all using the drives from the FX8 before the tube amp.
