Those will work but the plastic parts are not the greatest and will fail in a short time. Just like with anything you get what you pay for! That doesn't mean you have to buy the most expensive either.

Stands that use plastic parts which makes up most of them are going to have problems at some point. If you can find a stand that uses metal parts for the hing and clamping mechanism you will be much better off but your not going to get them for $25 a piece either.

A quick google search for the best stands yielded this! Best Speaker Stands 2018 The Gator Frameworks are my fave! but are probably the most expensive I have seen.
 
You can build nice ones out of 4x4 lumber or sand filled larger diameter pvc pipe that is cheaper, sturdier, and with better acoustic dampening due to mass than anything store
