distant mic'd IR's through PA?

those of you that are using distance IR's to get the sound of a non-mic'd cab, are you also sending the same sound to FOH? I can't think of any reason why not, since it seems like the ideal situation for every guitarist would be for the audience to hear the amp directly rather than a mic'd version of it.

Yes. . . I send the same farfield mic'd tones to both my monitor amp on stage and to the FOH. If you have a good FRFR amp on stage, and your PA is properly eq'd, everyone should hear the same sound.

BTW, I also use the same tones to record.
