Death tones?

I'm looking for some rhythm tones off of the album Symbolic. Been trying to nail something but having a hard time. I'm new to the axe so I'm still learning.

I'm doing directly into PC, no amp involved.

Any idea what amp they used, thats usually a good starting place, for dialing in axe tones, figure out the original rig. According to wiki they used marshall valvestate near the end and before that randalls, among other things. Probably not much help.

To be honest, I did not had that much luck when going after the original gear. I usually listen to the sound and try to match it with whatever I think would do. Very often I end up using totally different amps and/or cabs than the original.
In this case, we don't have a choice because the 8100 is a solid state amp which is not modeled in the Axe-Fx.
