Common Presets for Session/Substitution Use

Hi,
for a common pop band do you have a set of "goto" presets or amp set up?
I need to sub for a pop band and I was wondering if you have a set of presets/amps/effects that are your go to

the band is some sort of 70/80/90 cover band and there's a mix of everything from disco to pop soul to some rock songs.
I think I need some sort of clean/funky sound, some crunch, and maybe something more heavy/effected for modern solos
Any preset you want to share to get started?
Any favourites in the default presets?
My problem is that there are too many sounds :)

I’d go the simple route:
What Rig would you choose if there were no modelers? An amp that can go from clean to mean? There are a lot of threads about this available. Read them, then build this Rig in a new preset and off you go.

Or the harder route:
Build a preset for clean, another one for crunch, another one for heavy …
 
Hi Nick,

I’m not near my unit at the moment so I can’t recall the preset numbers, but search for these names. They should cover a lot of ground for what you’re after:

Studio Leads

Jumped Plexi

Try Axes

80’s Clean

In A Funk

Those are just a few that I remember. The Fractal units are literally packed with usable tones so no doubt there are many other presets that can work for you.
