Chances of a MFC-2?

Well... sold the ol' faithful Ultra today for $1600. Definitely seen them go for more, but I was pleased. Breaks my heart to see it go but I think I can sell some other useless junk to get close to the required $2200 for a II. Anyway, while we wait lol, I was just curious what you guys think about the possibility of a new MFC? I really really want one, but I don't want to throw down another $700 only to have a new one come out early next year. I don't know enough about it, but would there even be a market for any improvements? Or is the MFC-101 here to stay?

It's a midi controller.

I'd suspect you'd see an expansion module in the future.

An MFC-2? Don't see the market for a bigger format midi controller.

sweet that's what I was kinda hoping. I know that it can't really get any more complicated, but I guess I was afraid a "newly redesigned" edition might come out. Can you blame me? Who are we to guess what's going on in Cliff's mind lol

We just got MFC v. 1.02 today. It probably has a ways to go before the hardware needs refreshing.
