Can Axe-FX II tone matches be used in an Ultra?

I don't know if this has come up... I haven't found any threads about it so..

If someone does a tonematch, and posts the sysx for the preset; can it be used in an Ultra?

It would be sweet if it could. =)

YES, IF the Axe II person exports the TM and an IR, and that IR is then converted to Axe Gen 1 format (where it would be loaded in a Cab Block). You'd also need the details of the amp being matched, general type and control settings etc.

I've asked the Axe II TM section to provide a TM IR for testing this, but only recieved one reply which was an Acoustic IR.

Try to get the Axe II folks to provide us some TM IR's...

That's the way I do it. You need to use Voxengo Deconvolver inbetween.
