Cable method for running (2) Quilter 101's and (2) Mesa Boogie 1x12 Cabinets

Just received my FX8 yesterday.. (Totally taken back as to how good it sounds)
I currently have a Quilter 101 hooked up to a closed back Mesa 1x12 Cabinet..
I was thinking about getting another Quilter 101 and another Mesa 1x12 but with an open back..

I would like to run a stereo rig.. My thought was to get an A/B splitter and be able to go either left or right or both for some of the stereo effect..

I say a thread regarding running 4CM and also 7CM.. How do I use both of the Effects loops on both amps?

Or am I getting way ahead of my self?

The reason for getting the open back Mesa is that the closed back can be a little bottom end crazy...

Thanks
Jeff

there are 7 audio inputs and outputs on the FX8:

1 Pre In (Guitar in)
2 Pre Out (Goes to Amp inputs)
2 Post In (Comes from Amp Loop Sends)
2 Post Out (Goes to Amp Loop Returns)

that's 7 cables right there, which is the "4 Cable Method" in stereo. so you're set.

you can hard pan blocks to go Left Only or Right Only as you wish to create those types of Presets, or of course don't hard pan anything for Stereo operation by default.

The FX8 has stereo ins/outs. Just treat the L/R like two separate systems if you're intent on using the 101 loops.

Cant wait to get it setup.. Just need to find another used Mesa cabinet and order the Quilter...
Thanks Guys....
