Hello! Maybe a strange question... Did someone ever heard about presets with bugs whitch in case did or could however damage your unit? In the past i had to change 3 times my FM3 because of USB connection problems to the computer... Could it be that some presets i Downloaded from Axe Exchange maybe had some bugs? Finally friday i got my FM9 but now i'm a bit afraid to upload my old presets to the new unit...

I can't imagine bugs in presets could ever damage the unit. Maybe there is something wrong with your setup, that is causing the damage.

Tell us more detail about the USB connection problems you had. From what you have described it is hard to imagine how a preset could be related to USB connection damage. Need more details.
