#BUG FM3 device recording latency

when recording with usb, the recorded track is written about 50ms later.
why is that?
can this be fixed?
what i do now is set the track latency to -50ms.
btw, using fw 4.00 beta, but this happend in previous versions too

Here’s one of the many threads on this subject. I don’t know that it has ever been established whether the problem is in the FM3/AxeFX or not so it’s hard to say who is to blame for this problem but there is a workaround. This comes up often enough that it should probably be in the user manual.

I had the same issue with logic. It doesn't happen when I record with Studio One.

Having the issue still in 2024. Ridiculous, considering the price of the FM3 Turbo. Adjusting latency does nothing. Using a regular audio interface with piped-in audio from the back of the Fractal = fine. It's a problem with the unit, not Logic.
