Axe fx ultra fxloop issue

Hello everybody,

I'm a new owner of an old axe fx ultra.
The unit seems to work fine but i have troubles with the fxloop.
I tried connecting an external preamp an there is no sound comment out.
I connecter the preamp on the send and return 2 as expliqué on the manual, i put the input and output 2 levels but i don't have nothing when the bloc is active.
I tried with a câble connecter between the send and return and still no sound.
Maybe there is something i misses somewhere but i don't know what.
If someone have an idea ?

For the moment i turn up the output 2 volume knob and i don't have signal.
I tried with the preamp ( very hot output ) on the fx loop, with input2 knob full and output 2 knob full and i have a very small signal and pretty bad sounding.
I tried a cable between the send and receive and i have no signal.
I tried with the guitar on the input 2 and i have no signal.
I cleaned all the jacks socket on the unit with a contact cleaner.
I Will open the unit to see inside.
Maybe i will see something.
 
I'm back with the solution.
Maybe it can help some People.
I opened the unit this morning and i disconnected all the cables inside, cleaned them all with contact cleaner and plugged them again. I also cleaned all the jacks and I changed the battery which was completly dead.
Everything comes back to normal and the effect loop works fine again.
The unit was in very good condition, inside, all the board was as clean as it goes out from factory, but the plugs were certainly a little bit oxidated.
