Axe FX power supply?

I'm about to purchase an Axe Fx ultra from a friend in the USA. just wondering, will it be ok to run on a uk mains power? or am i going to have to buy a transformer or something?

It is 110-240 V mounted inside the unit, you will just need a power cord with UK plug.

The Axe-Fx has an auto-ranging power supply that can handle 220VAC / 50Hz. You may need a UK-style IEC power cord.

Is it the same for Japanese units? One Japanese seller said I need a step down transformer? But the back of the unit says 100-240 ac
