Axe fx firmware update help.

New to this kind of thing....

I have midi-ox and the latest firmware installed on my computer.
I just got midisport 2x2 anni and was trying to follow the instructions but have run into to 2 different problems. I'm not even sure I have plugged in the interface correctly.... Is there a step by step tutorial that i have not found yet.
 
Load M-audio Software drivers plug Midisport in the USB.
For best results hook up both in and out midi to the axe-fx. Use the beta editor to load the new firmware.

I got it to work. I didn't realize I needed to go to the auido/midi settings and physically open the output. After some tinkering I figured it out though.
