AX8 Custom Shift settings getting dumped?

Twice now my AX8 has dumped all my custom shift settings. They all revert back to -24 for each key.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so, do you know what causes this? I wonder if maybe there's an internal battery that may keep internal data from being lost.

Are you loosing other global settings at the same time? If so, you may have powered off the unit while the global settings were being saved. After you change anything that is stored in the global settings they are saved in the background. Depending on how loaded the unit is, this can take a few seconds. When making changes to the unit, give it a few seconds before powering off. It has been a long time since I have looked at this product, but I believe the unit will load the defaults if the global memory is corrupted for any reason.
