Audio without DAW

Hey Guys - First off, I'm pretty new to this stuff, so please forgive my ignorance.

Is it possible to hear my AXE FX III through my monitors without actually using a DAW? I'm using a Mac Mini, with Logic Pro X, but would sometimes like to just play/practice without creating a session. My monitors are connected to my audio interface (Scarlett 18i20) and my Axe FX is connected to my Mac via USB.

I hope I explained this well. Thanks for any and all help.

Sure, just connect your studio monitors to your AxeFX or connect your AxeFX to your Scarlett. You’ll find complete instructions here:

Or use a mixer or multi-source monitor controller.

You can route inputs directly to the outputs in Focusrite Control. It's called "Direct Monitoring". You don't need a DAW then.
