assign expression pedal to wah block in fm3 edit

I bought a nectar sp1 expression pedal..I plugged it into pedal input 1 on my fm3. I went through the calibration procedure and it works when I load and already made preset with a wah block in it.
What I can't work out is if I add a wah block to a preset that hasn't had one in it... eg fender blues jar (prob my favourite preset 8).... ) I can't work out how to assign the pedal to the wah..... any tips
