I'm a new FM3 owner and using it mainly for effects straight into a clean amp. I bought the FM3 basically as an updated FX8 and want to incorporate other pedals into the signal chain. I found the FX8 more or less totally transparent, I'm not yet sure about the FM3. Has anyone found it necessary (or just as a preference) to use the FM3 in the loop of an effects switcher so that it's totally out of the signal chain when not required? I'm thinking of how some people use the Eventide H9...
