Anyone have issues with heat and live performance?

This Friday we have a 101* outdoor pool gig. I may pull my FM3 from the makeshift stage after sound ck but curious if anyone has had issues with excessive heat and FM3 performance?

I've played in hotter temps without issue, but two pieces of advice:
  1. Keep your FM3 out of the direct sun
  2. Don't rely on MIDI (particularly wireless MIDI) as third-party interfaces tend to overheat
As long as your unit has some shade, you should be fine -- the manual lists the safe operating temp up to 122F

In direct sunlight I've lost the screen during the gig. I learned to throw a towel over it whenever I don't need to look at it, especially on breaks. Some of my presets and scenes don't change from song to song so I just throw a towel over it. But performance wise I never had an issue with it on hot outdoor gigs.

I'm sure it's possible, but I've never had it overheat, even when playing in 100 degree sunlight. However, I do try to keep it shaded now because it is hard to read in the sun.
