Anyone experience with Ibanez EHB-Series?

I‘m currently looking for an upgrade of my Ibanez SR bass and the EHB1265MS looks very interesting: 5-string, multiscale, headless, stainless steel frets and due to the partially hollow body it seems to be light enough for my broken back.
I‘m sceptical because it’s made in Indonesia and I don‘t have the best experience with the quality of these instruments. But the specs and price is great…
Does anyone has experience with this series or even plays one?
 
I am no bassist but I have an EHB1005MS-SFM and I think it's great. The tone controls are powerful, slap and pizzicato sounds are great, and it sounds awesome with a pick too. The fretwork is done properly and you can get a great action with no noise.

How's the balance on your bass when playing standing up? Any neck dive issues?
 
Well, it's been over two years and today I finally ordered an Ibanez EHB 6-string as replacement for my SR.
I will test the bass for a few days and then decide if it stays. I'm still a bit concerned about the quality.
 
... if it ever arrives. Somehow it takes longer than I've expected.

I hate waiting. I am too impatient. I want my new toy, now :sweatsmile:
