Anyone else having latency issues with drive block?

I have a preset with a fender amp sim and an octave distortion block. Have two instances of this preset in my fx-1 controller. One with the drive block engaged and one without. Every time I switch to the one with the drive block engaged there is as much as half a second before there is audio. But no delay at all when switching to the preset when the drive block is bypassed. Is this a bug. Just got my Axe II after using a Standard for years. Never had any latency issues with the standard. I am on FW 8, anyone else experiencing this?
 
I am at work right now, so can't post preset atm. I actually haven't even hooked the Axe II to the computer. I've been doing everything on front panel and copying settings from axe-edit screen that I used with the Axe Standard. I don't know if I have ever posted a preset on this forum, how would I go about it?
