Anyone catch Paul Gilbert with the LP Trio the other night?

Wow, that is awesome stuff!!

If you haven't yet, pick up his new album "Vibrato". It's a huge departure for what he usually does and has some awesome blues/jazz riffing and four live covers.

Btw, Emi on keyboards, is his wife. She can rock!

His newest is on my list for sure. Yeah, Emi is badass, really amazing player.

I love these Iridium shows, they've had some amazing ones lately. Steve Stevens' sets and Doug Aldrich's spring to mind. It's worth keeping up to date with their schedule, some real gems come up and it's always cool to catch the Les Paul Trio. I really dig Lou Pallo's playing.

I must say. Im in Pauls School. He is very in the know w/ his students. If you guys like I can give a sample of my private VE's. Paul Is always responsing to questions as well. THere is an "ask Paul" section. He even goes into the chat rooms to talk about his gear and just anything and everything.

His lessons are invaluable to me... But be warned. Paul Requires a "foot stomp" with all his VE's. If you don't stomp and play in time. You will have to REDO your entire lessons.
