Hey everyone, I'm pretty much just a solo bedroom player these days, and I'm looking for advice on racks or enclosures. I don't need anything super road-worthy, just something to keep it a little protected and maybe muffle the fan a bit. I figure my axe fx will mainly live on my desk, and I might occasionally take it to jam with friends (although i'll probably just stick with a simple combo amp for that for now).
I have a 4-space skb case from about 10-15 years ago, the big bulky hard plastic kind, but I'm looking for something smaller and less obtrusive. I guess a 2-space version of that would work, but is there anything that would work better? All the small racks I've found are made for transport, and all the "stationary" racks I've found are big 10+ space stands meant for studios.
Does anyone just leave it out sitting on a desk? Any issues with that?
