I think you will be pleased. I recently returned from three previous intervals of Fractal ownership, the Ultra then the AxeFx II twice...
I thought I would certainly enjoy the new iteration but had no expectations it would be by this much. It has really been a Goldilocks moment as in 'This one is just right!'
It sounds better than I had expected, something about the distortion in the mids, upper mids is remarkably improved and the AxeFx was arguably already the leader in that field over the years, and with the FC6 (with help from 4 external stand in switches) it has made the AxeFxIII seem to be finally complete.
My other gear is going away soon, no need anymore for my Kemper and Helix.
