I am having to learn this version for a show coming up and I wanted to post this video in case some of you haven't heard this cover of John Mayers' Age of Worry.
Johns version is very Americana, I wasn't a huge fan of the album this was on - Born and Raised. But listening to this version moves my soul every time.
Whether you like John Mayer or not, the lyrics in this song are timeless. This is a masterfully written song and Yebba's arrangement is a masterclass of soul/gospel diminished movements and key changes.
