Not a Bug Adding a compressor block leads to significant Preset Leveling performance decrease

I'll mentioned this in the FW 5.01 thread, though I have no idea if this is firmware related or FM3 related (I actually suspect the first option):

Adding a compressor block to the grid will decrease the update rate of the levels in the Preset Leveling window. It doesn't matter
  • if the compressor is active or not,
  • how many blocks are in the grid (simple In1/Out1 + Compressor will do it).
So far I have not checked if this is compressor type specific, but if it is of interest, I am using the Optical type.

I've just tried this using 5.01 and can't reproduce it.
To test this, I compared a preset with just In+Amp+Cab+Out to In+Comp+Amp+Cab+Out
Is it possible that what's happening on your end is that the CPU level is increasing to the point of affecting the communication with FM3-Edit?

Thanks for the replies.
Strange that this appears to not be reproducible, since I saw this on a IN1 -> COMP -> OUT1 preset freshly set up. Will check on it after work and update my findings accordingly.

Interesting...updated to 1.05.06 and the problem is gone. So I would just keep it at "it's resolved" instead.
