A neat realization

Inspired
I had been running my Axe-FX through whatever stereo system I had around, or at the PA when we'd play live. I recently got a used Roland KC-500 from a friend for free and I ran my Axe-FX through it. I'm sure it's not perfectly flat, but suddenly, it really feels like I'm playing an amp in the room. I never had any complaints about the feel before, but it now feels just like I'm playing a real amp. Pretty cool stuff.

Yeah Keyboard amps work well. Not really flat but close enough for Keyboards and the Axe FX believe. I too play out live through the P A and use the monitor system onstage most of the time. But when I do play locally I tend use 2 of the small Roland AC-60 acoustic guitar amps. I plug into the Aux inputs not the guitar inputs and they sound really good and they can get some volume too. If I was doing a hard rock gig, I would think twice but for most of my sideman gigs they work really well, and they don't take up much stage space.

Enjoy your realization.
