Hi, guys! I've been using the AX8 for a little over a year. I just play at my local church. I run my AX8 direct to FOH and use an Atomic CLR powered wedge with only my guitar coming through it (no other vocals or instruments). Other musicians near me have their monitors with the band mix, so I get some filler from those.
Oddly enough, I use this as my main high gain patch. Never thought I'd play that heavy in church, but certain songs call for it. My main guitar is an Ibanez RG1070 that has Dimarzio The Tone Zone in the bridge, Air Norton in the neck and True Velvet single coil in the middle.
It's set up for mono, and there's a volume block assigned to EXP2 that you may have to disable if you're not using a volume pedal, or assign it to where you have your plugged into the AX8.
It also uses a factory cab, so you won't have to find a 3rd party IR to use with it.
