i dont know, maybe using the FAS link II with an adaptor of two TRS Female.

i dont like the FC6 its way big.

maybe in future update from hardware it can have 4 Pedal TRS like the FM9.

You could use a MIDI thing like the Expression IO. I had two of them in my old setup, but have managed to whittle it down to one with the current setup....

No. It's just some setup work to define the External Controllers in the unit, and it worked great.

Even in my new setup, the one remaining Expression IO does 4 switches and two CCs. These are used for switching stuff that doesn't require any indicator lights, like FC View toggling, Preset up/down, tap tempo, and a momentary mid boost that helps with pushing the guitar into feedback, as well as the two CCs used for a couple of "set and forget" things like a Fletcher/Munson compensation PEQ I whipped up....

I’m running 4 expression pedals with mine and it works great.

It also supports a similar option to Tap/Hold when used with switches (although I have only used it with pedals so far).

Yes, I believe the maximum # of pedals would be two (couldn't use wah I don't think because I believe it requires both signals). It would be possible to have three stand in switches though using tip, ring, and simultaneous presses. Of course it would help to have something like this to ensure it was a simultaneous press.
