Hi Everyone:

I made a few AM4 presets for my friend Bill (attached) and others are asking me about LiveGold for AM4.

I'm gonna do a "LiveGold-Lite" version for the AM4, and this is the format I plan to use. It's NOT the same as the Axe-Fx III/FM9/FM3.

  • we only get 4 scenes
  • we get limited effects slots
  • You have to use Dynacabs or custom User Rs ( I may provide some if I can't get the sound I need from DynaCabs).
  • CS2amp boost stuff is trickier ot make useful on AM4, but I will do an amp boost scene for every preset, usualyl on low or mid gain.
  • will put amp block 3rd and leave space for one post-amp effect. Probably delay or reverb, amp-dependent I know some of you are using VP4s after the AM4.
  • will include a drive block before the amp
  • that leaves you an open block slot for anything to want to add before the amp - wah, phaser, chorus, etc.

Love to hear what you guys think about the layout of the attached here? Cheers, hope you like the preset sounds!

Great tones!! I think the position of amp block can be moved around according to each person's preference. In my case, I like to keep the amp in the second block and put the reverb at the end. Anyway, I am looking forward to getting the LiveGold-Lite package.

Cheers!
