    I believe he was referring to the MFC (this being that section and all). The Global preset then can recall any single preset on the Axe (or any other device for that matter).

    I've worked on a system with a midi controller with this feature and what we found it useful for was to have a home or default setting the artist could always jump back to from anywhere. So no matter where he was in his banks (1-128) he could always jump to his default tone as it were. Make sense?

    Thanks. Yeah it seems that the pedal I have - the Peavey cv-1 - isn't going to do the trick. It doesn't actually have a pot but a slider type mechanism. Shame, I actually liked the size and feel. Perhaps I will just give it its own cable and try calibrating it inside the Axe. cheers
