    Totally agree! What guitar player would NOT like the Ax8? Just trying to maximize figuring out where it fits in my life. Saving money on amps is probably the biggest impact thus far ... it scratches the Urge to Tweak itch.

    I might try that, I have the Fryette PS2. But that would defeat the purpose of keeping my footprint small as I would then be hauling at least a cabinet and I think the ones I have would color the acoustic sound.

    I did the update and none of the presets in "Bonus Classic Rock and Blues" work. They load, but they silence the unit. Opening a preset in Axedit shows them to be populated and connected, but no sound.

    Hey, my first post. I'm a neurotologist (I expect only the audiologist will know what that is) and my observation is that very rarely do even the loudest bands get to 110 dB stage volume, peak. If you are at 120 dB, your audience will be standing outside the venue.
