I swear that this is the case with me. I have never even been in the global section prior to last night to fix it. Very strange. It genuinely seems to me that the FW update switched it off somehow.

Thanks for the response. Its quite likely that my presets were hot although I have some that were factory presets that I suspect are now clipping. No I dont suspect that the firmware update has had an impact on my input, I was merely asking whether resetting my input may be a nice global...

No EQ on the interface and never previously noticed a difference previously. Also using the factory presets so nothing there either. I might have to steal my sons (more expensive) interface to see if the same thing happens.

Strange Experience of New AX8 owner

I changed to Blue Chip about 6 months ago and yes...totally a game changer. Couldnt believe I would spend $40 on a pick, then I couldnt believe how much difference it made to my playing. Best bang for buck $40 I ever spent on "gear".

Can't really help you directly but I was having EXACTLY the same problem. I unplugged my audio interface, restarted my laptop and it all worked. Stupid question I guess but have you restarted?

Newbie question about Exp pedal and switch regarding Factory Presets

My apologies for a niave newbie question. I am waiting on delivery of my AX8 and its coming with a Mission SP1 Exp pedal (with a switch). The SP1 requires 2 TRS cables, one for exp pedal, one for the switch. I understand that there are 4 ports in the AX8 that are for expternal pedals/switches...
