I've only recorded through my Apollo Twin, love it so much I'm purchasing the Apollo 8 next week with the Black Lion Apollo upgrade. Agreed some of the Mic pre's in the UA arsenal are unreal! Analog gear emulation is getting fantastic! The Apollo just gives it that spit and polish that puts...

the ultimate axe fx headphones

I have both the Shure SRH-940's and Sennheiser HD-650's, both sound good but I would give the overall sound quality to the 650's. But I prefer playing through my ASM-12. You can dial in very low volumes and the sound reproduction is spectacular!

Recommended Expression pedals for use with Axe FX II

I use an EP-1 for expression and controlling effects levels etc. And I use an FV-500 for volume, pan and tremolo effects. They are both built well but both have different sweep/throw levels, the FV-500 being more dramatic.

Friedman ASM-12

Purchased my asm12 in January. Absolutely love it! After six months with it I have no complaints, only praise. It's built Rock solid, but most importantly sounds fantastic with any amp model I run through it!

Friedman ASM-12

Bought my ASM12 in December... Absolutely love it! Will definitely be purchasing a 2nd. My presets sound so amazing running through it. The Axe fx 2+ sounded great through my studio monitors, but the ASM just takes that sound to a much higher more articulate dynamic area

Absolutely love my ASM-12! Received it one month ago. All the presets I dialed in using Sure SRH940 headphones translated excellent with no additional adjustment. IMHO if I close my eyes, I don't know I'm not playing through the actual amp itself. I would buy another one with absolutely no...

Might ditch rig for an AXE FX2. Scared lo NEED EXPERT ADVICE

Axe Fx just for home: who else does it?

I'm using Sennheiser HD650 headphones and just got the Friedman ASM-12. Both sound excellent, very articulate. You can run the ASM at near 0 volume so you don't make your cat go hide. I can't say enough good things about the ASM!
