Oh ok, that shouldn't be an issue. Would there be too much background noise with 1/4in though? Given it is an unbalanced signal? Not sure running XLR adapters (through the balanced output) would actually alleviate the noise or not.

This guy does 1/4in to RCA, but he goes through a stereo first. Would it be possible to go straight into a speaker using 1/4 to RCA or would the signal to noise be too much? Sorry for my complete lack of knowledge on this stuff, I haven't had anything besides a practice amp before the axe-fx so...

I'm trying to find a way to make my axe fx II XL usable with regular home speakers (either RCA or 3.5mm inputs). I'm guessing RCA may be the way to go since most home speakers have them, but I'm not sure how to route for it. I'm guessing I either need to get cables that are XLR Female to RCA...

I feel like I may be converting these cabs wrong for my XL because some of the cabs correlate with empty IR slots according to the conversion PDF. For instance, preset 4 of alternative bank A is "Shiva clean" and it's Y cabinet is showing as F139. According to the chart I would replace that...

Can't save any 51-100 user cabs and getting gibberish on cab #76..

I hadn't sent in a ticket yet since I was unsure if it was a common issue or not (I've only had my axe for a month). I just tried flashing empty preset banks for all banks, which also didn't do anything. In fact, it made more of the 51-100 user cabs show gibberish, but all were able to be...

Can't save any 51-100 user cabs and getting gibberish on cab #76..

Things I've tried since posting: -Sending empty IR file to each user cab 51-100 using Fractal bot -Flashed clean system file -uninstalled and reinstalled fresh axe edit program I'm guessing my axe fx is just screwed up now :(

So I just got the axe fx ii 2 weeks ago and really like the 'mark day's hbe' preset. I've heard a lot of people say that the presets don't hold a candle to the tone you can achieve on your own so I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some better exchange presets or setup ideas...

I was wondering this as well. I noticed there was ultrares cabs after the update, but wasn't sure if everything was done automatically or not. For instance, theres a folder with IRs inside the update file. Do those have to be loaded manually while the main ones are auto when you update the firmware?

Thanks everyone! Picked up the axe fx ii and the mfc 101 today. Had just enough time to get it all plugged in and updated. Im trying to start with a clean slate though and it seems that the links to the files that wipe the banks and cabinets are broken in the wiki. Any other way to get rid of...
