Can a Helix Control be used to control the Axe-Fx?

Would be also curious if this would work somehow. The Helix Controller is a beautiful piece of hardware with its 2x6 pedal layout, a main LCD and small pedal LCDs. Metalcase. An all that to a very affordable price. IMHO this is how a MFC-101 successor would have to look like, I'd immediately buy...

Anyone tried the Eurekaprom 3.1?

Thanks for the detailed explanation David. Looks like the combination of the FCB1010<->Eureka is exactly what I am looking for, I was hoping that it could be that easy. And all that for the cheap price of the FCB1010 and the chip. :) Hmm so that is indeed possible with the Eureka? Yes thinking...

Too bad that while the Axe FX is a great gear and FA a nice company, the official forum community is not? There seems to be a reason why there are other forums like axefx.de, dont we all share the same passion with guitars and the Axe searching for new sounds?

No its not?! We are talking about features of a controller board and what the MFC-101 is missing, so there you go, look at the helix controller controls... sure LF or RJM did this long before. Doesnt make it any better that the MFC is missing that. Thats why i added a +1 for the original poster.

+1 for individual LCD displays per knob. Or, to be more clear, thats a missing feature that makes the MFC-101 unfortunately a "no-buy" for me (and go along with no midi-controller or, maybe somewhen, one from another company if FA wont do one). We're in 21st century, every highend foot...

1500 bucks, you say, Line6?

I came from a POD X3/Live / M13 combination and POD HD500 to the Axe FX II / XL (as the Axe was always my "must have" device). For me Line 6 was always a "good sound for fair price", but knowing that I was not on the upper end of tone. I didnt like the delays of Line 6, especially of the POD HD...

Starfighter, since FW18 is out now *yeah* I've been able to test your preset right now. Thanks for providing it, and luckily your scene with the distortions on (especially for the One solo part) really sounds better and gives me the right dirt in the sound I've been missing so far in my presets...

Hmm import of the preset into my AxeFX II/XL with 17.04 does not work. Seems I might need to wait until 18 is out as it does not seem to be downwards compatible?!
