your suggestions for additionnal 1u/2u units

Top-notch quality rack tuner, like Korg DTR-1. Those things are pretty cheap (relatively). Extremely precise and clearly visible from the long distance (on stage for example). I've got one (DTR-1) and it's the only piece of my old analog rack rig I haven't sold, way too handy to let it go.

Help me get Gilmour Fuzz tones! (With video demo)

Use Bobby Harrison's BF presets as a starting point for an additional tweaking to suit your guitar (pickups etc.). They are awesome: This was played with DiMarzio Super Distortion working on one coil. You should get much better results since you have a proper SSS pickup set in your guitar.

Coil split to be exact. Coil tapping is a whole different thing and cannot be done unless coils in the pickup are already tapped by the manufacturer during winding process.

That was the plan ;) Exactly same set of humbuckers (old vintage handwound Super Distortion and PAF, both made in 1980 or 1981), but far more advanced than signature model regarding electronics and tonal versality - I have two circuits (HSH and SSS) selected with push-push pot :)

Multimedia software for PC or IOS?

Adobe InDesign will do. It can export projects into interactive PDF. With DPS (Digital Publishing Suite) extension you can even publish your presentations in form of mobile applications for smartphones or tablets. Of course if you have enough time and determination to learn how to use it ;)

Quantum 2.0 - Metallica clean & heavy preset

Distorted tone sounds too roomy and distant to me, it's like on the Ride of Lightning album but with different, more gainy amp. For more modern 'Tallica tone I would try to make it more punchy and tight. The clean tone is damn good.

Yeah we did that several times with my friend. I have a couple of presets for two guitars and we used them when playing for fun over a backing tracks while enjoying a beer'n'guitar weekends :wink: But this method is enough for really simple stuff like AC/DC, without any tone changes throughout...

Honestly I wouldn't go for EMG DG-20 set. Vast majority of the greatest solos from the best Pink Floyd era were played on his Black Strat equipped with all-Fender (earlier albums) or Seymour Duncan/Fender pickups. First time DG used EMG pickups was on the occasion of Momentary Lapse of Reason...

Just to clarify - as far as I know all the blocks in preset are exported to the blocks library as *.blk files organized in folder named after preset name with just one click using "Save as Blocks in Library" option from the Preset menu in Axe-Edit... so there's really nothing time consuming ;)...

You're welcome. One thing to keep in mind - those settngs I've posted above are for LEAD tone. Rhythm tone is different (JMPre-1 OD1 BS with different settings). I'll post those settings when I'll get home.

Still working on Powerslave preset - did some tweaking with AutoWah and changed Reverb type for solo scenes. This time I have tested those changes on second Davey's solo from Powerslave. Damn... those legato runs are sooooooo fast... :eek:

I may be wrong, but it doesn't look that way... as far as I remember Volume control in JMP-1 affects the tone (in terms of gain), the Output Level in amp block in Axe-Fx does not, just makes things louder and could be understood as the Output Level knob on the front of the actual JMP-1 :rolleyes:
