Just got my Axe FX II XL+ and it ain't good

I had this exact same problem when I was on tour in the UK a few years ago. I've been using the rear input ever since which is a little awkward live. Front input still doesn't work, lol.

Mic CAB instead of going DI?

I use a power amp/cab configuration with the AxeFX and I really prefer it over a FR speaker. I like the way a 4x12 cab resonates onstage and it just feels better to play. It's a beast. When playing smaller venues the audience is hearing much of the actual band coming off the stage so it's...

Massive hum on AxeFX II input

Currently touring UK and I'm getting a huge hum problem on all patches. First 2 LEDs of the input meter are lit up. Turning volume down on guitar has no effect. Tried different guitars and patch cables to no avail. Current solution is to have FOH gate my guitar heavily, which is far from ideal...

Pro tools isn't doing anything right now. I'm recording my patch changes into it. If I scroll through my patches axeFX will send a barrage of cc numbers to the midi track which is not what I want. I want to cue up my next patch as the song is playing then punch in the patch change for the chorus...
